The Kyosho RB6 2015 2wd 1/10 Electric off road Buggy racing machine charges into the new season with key running changes and better pricing. 26 years after the Ultima’s first IFMAR World Championship, Team Kyosho International’s Jared Tebo drove the Ultima RB6 to dominate the IFMAR 2WD Electric Off-Road World Championship held in California in September 2013, taking TQ and the championship victory. The world’s most formidable racing machine has now been modified to deliver superior performance on high-grip running surfaces. The 2015 model still has the key advantages of the previous model, such as the high-rigidity 7075-T6 aluminum main chassis, adjustable battery mounting position for changes to weight distribution, mid or rear-motor mounting systems, and Big Bore oil shocks that set the highest standards for shock absorbers in its class. The new model features a selection of rear wing, rear suspension arms & shock springs to suit the midship motor mount setup. These changes produce improved durability and broader setting options for stability on high grip surfaces including artificial grass, carpet and hard-packed dirt. The new RB6 is fully loaded and designed for racers ready to challenge serious competition or upgrade for the next big racing event.

Based on the 2012 Ultima RB6 (No.30068), this model has been specifically modified for midship motor mount configuration.
Design allows both midship and rear mounting of the motor.
Features tungsten diff balls.

Battery mounting position can be transferred between front and rear when using separate or short type Li-Po batteries.
Transmission incorporates reinforced idler gear to increase strength and performance.

Features:

Chassis: The RB6 2015 uses a hard-anodized, chassis built from 7075-T6 aluminum and is precisely milled to provide the exact amount of flex needed for the best handling. Side guards also contribute to the chassis rigidity.

Transmission: Both mid and rear motor chassis configurations are possible with the same RB6. The mid-motor set-up favors high bite tracks, while the rear-motor configuration is suited to medium to low traction surfaces.

Battery Layout: Straight, Saddle, or "shorty" battery types can be installed. The mounting positions when using a "shorty" type battery also allows varying weight distribution to suit different surfaces and layouts.

Rear Arms: The rear suspension arms now have a third hole (KYOUM713B) that provides more setting options for the mid-motor configuration. The rear shock springs have been changed to the X-Gear gold springs (KYOXGS013) to achieve more rear grip.

Front End: Durability is maximized with the installation of one-piece steel axles, hard-type ballends and chromoly adjustable tie rods.

Steering: The rear-facing steering bellcranks swing on the same angle and radius as the steering knuckles, producing the desired amount of "Ackerman" at all steering angles.

Shock Towers: The shock towers are also made from a special synthetic material with fibers. This material has the required hardness for a race, but also has the necessary flexibility in the event of a hard crash. Both shock towers have numerous mounting points providing numerous fine-tuning options.

Hex Clamp System: The hexes on the front and rear axles are each secured with a single screw. This means that the pins are secured against falling out and can be changed with a driver.

Triple” BigBore Oil Shocks: Three components make up the BigBore shocks: the upper shock cap, the damper housing and the lower damper cap. The shock are made from high quality aluminum and are characterized by their ease and smoothness. Preload can be adjusted with a fine threaded knurled nut. A special feature of the knurled nut is an O-ring that keeps it in place during the action and movements of racing.

Body: The RB6’s unique forward cabin type body delivers sharp cornering and stability. Improved cornering and durability is achieved by replacing the rear wing combination with the Step Wing 3.0 (KYOLA373).
